The Marais on foot

The Marais on foot

What can we expect?

The Marais is a very special district in the history of Paris. It has retained all its authenticity. Its narrow streets and mansions dating from the 16th and 17th centuries bear witness to this.

Do you know how it got its name? For a long time, Paris was a vast marshland, particularly in what is now the Marais district. A stroll through the Marais is like wandering through streets full of charm and the very chic Place des Vosges, discovering the old Jewish quarter and Rue des Rosiers, visiting numerous private mansions, entering designer boutiques and stopping off at the capital's trendy bars.

The tour includes a gourmet break at a particularly talented artisan patissier that your guide will be delighted to introduce you to.
